Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms need a total revamp and I encountered two unwelcome cockroaches, the staff's service compensated admirably for the building's shortcomings. The location was ideal and central, but the dining options didn't quite meet my expectations. The facilities are decent, but improvements are needed for a more enjoyable stay.
The hotel's rooms were a bit cold and noisy in the evenings, especially during weekends when the 'Beer Engine' played very loud music. The hotel needs a new look, particularly the floor.
I had a decent stay at the hotel despite some noise from the nearby 'Beer Engine' at weekends. The rooms could use a bit of sprucing up, but the friendly and helpful service made up for it. The location was quite noisy due to heavy traffic, but the staff went the extra mile to make my stay enjoyable. The dining options were satisfactory, but not very inclusive for non-meat eaters.
The hotel has a nice view of downtown Harare and offers easy access to the city and its environs. However, it can get quite noisy in the evenings, especially at the weekend when the 'Beer Engine' is playing very loud music. The rooms need modernizing.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were quite noisy in the evenings, especially when the 'Beer Engine' was open with loud music. The stuffiness of the rooms, possibly due to the carpet, and the issue with the bathroom door not closing properly were drawbacks. On the upside, the rooms were conducive for a comfortable stay.
